West Shore Rental Management, Inc has been providing comprehensive Property Management services for the past 30 years, with located in Manistee and Ludington, MI. Our highly trained staff of professionals include an Account Manager, Specialized Agents, Office Administrator, Maintenance Professionals, and Sales Agents. MARKETING

Our new Digital Marketing Platform allows us to connect with thousands of potential tenants on ALL social media platforms such as Zillow, Trulia, Zumper, Rent.com, the MLS, VRBO, Homeaway and MORE. Our reach enables us to select the most qualified applicants for your property.

BACKGROUND CHECK

Our software allows us to complete thorough background checks on all potential tenants including credit check, previous landlord history, income verification, and criminal history. This process enables us to provide quality tenants for our properties.

ACCOUNTING/SOFTWARE

Our Cloud Based Software keeps your account balanced and up to date at all times. Owners have the ability to login through their portal to check on rental income, maintenance, notifications, and reports. We generate our owners a Year End Report detailing all income and expenses. Tenants also have the ease of paying rent, requesting maintenance, checking account balances and history and sending notifications through the portal.

24 HOUR EMERGENCY SERVICES

We offer a 24 hour, 7 Day a week Emergency Hotline for owners and tenants, so there is never a worry when Emergencies arise.

PAYMENTS/BILL PAY

We offer direct deposit of rental income, so there is no waiting to get paid. Owners have the ability to sign up with Bill Pay and have utilities and other bills pertaining to the property paid through their account. Tenants have the ease of paying online and partner locations such as Walmart.

Owner/Broker

Curtis Smith is Owner and Broker of West Shore Rental Management. He is an accomplished tradesman and holds active licenses as a Residential Builder, Commercial Roofing Contractor in FL, Mold and Asbestos Remediator, and Real Estate Broker. Through his many years of being a business owner, Curtis has mastered his skills and is able to provide his team at WSRM with irreplaceable knowledge, guidance and expertise. He takes pride in his accomplishments and remains a passionate business owner.

Nicole Smith

Owner

Nikki Smith is part owner of West Shore Rental Management and has been involved in Property Management and Real Estate for the past 15 years. In 2005, Nikki started as a part time Office Administrator while she was teaching Kindergarten full time. She soon realized her passion for all things Real Estate and quickly went from full time Office Administrator to Leasing Agent and now Owner. She runs the business with her husband, Curtis Smith and enjoys working with clients to bring their properties to their full potential.

Brittany started her career with West Shore Rental Management in 2015 as office assistant. In 2019 she earned her real estate license, and now supports the team as office leasing/real estate agent. Her main focus is working with clients to find their perfect home to rent, buy or sell! Additional duties include reviewing applications, working with property owners and making sure the office is running effortlessly.

Accounts Manager

Lynda joined the WSRM team in 2016. Her 20+ years of experience in a professional and accounting capacity have brought a higher level of quality to our clients. Lynda provides Owner and Tenant support with portal logins, direct deposit setup, payment processing, accounts receivable/payable, year end reports, etc. Though her duties keep her mostly behind the scenes, she's always happy to assist with any questions you may have.

Office Administrator

Jennifer has been an office assistant with the West Shore Rental Management team since 2018. Her duties include interacting with clients over the phone, in person, via email or social media, processing payments, applications and scheduling maintenance and repairs. She is usually the first person you meet when coming to our office. Jennifer takes pride in helping with any needs or questions tenants or owners may have to better their experience with WSRM.
